Federico Ubaldo della Rovere, Duke of Urbino
Federico Ubaldo della Rovere ( born May 16, 1605 Pesaro, † June 28, 1623 in Urbino), was the heir of the last Duke of Urbino, Francesco Maria II della Rovere della Rovere out of the house and his second wife Livia.
On May 14, 1621 72 -year-old Duke Francesco Maria II appointed his son the Prince of Urbino and entrusted him with the government of the duchy, but died the young prince just two years later, surprisingly in Urbino at a catarrh, we also suspected a poison attack.
After the death of the sole male heir, Francesco Maria II gave the duchy of Urbino in the Papal States and moved back to Urbania, where he died in 1631.
