Fernando Varela Ramos

Fernando Varela Ramos ( born September 1, 1979 in Dos Hermanas, Spain ) is a Spanish footballer who plays in the Spanish Segunda División plays at Real Valladolid.

Career

Born near Sevilla Fernando Varela comes from the youth of Betis Sevilla. Apart from the second half of the 1999/2000 season when Fernando Varela was loaned to CF Extremadura, he played from 1996 to 2006 a full ten years for the second, and from the year 2000, the first team of the Andalusians. His greatest success during his time at Betis was winning the Copa del Rey in 2005, when CA Osasuna was beaten in the final.

In summer 2006, he left, however, to play for RCD Mallorca, where he had a rough start after a few blunders and red cards, but soon became a fixed size and, among others, at 1:3 at Real Madrid on the final day of the season 2006/ 07 the time between opening goal scored. After four years in Mallorca Varela signed in the summer of 2010 the Turkish first division club Kasımpaşa Istanbul.

There he was indeed on 21 season games, but changed in the summer of 2011 nevertheless the Spanish second division side Real Valladolid. There his one-year contract was not renewed in the summer of 2012.
