2004–05 Copa del Rey

The Copa del Rey 2004/ 05 was the 101st edition of the Spanish Football Cup Copa del Rey.

The competition started on 1 September 2004 and ended with the final on 11 June 2005 at the Estadio Vicente Calderón ( Madrid). Defender of the cup competition was Real Zaragoza. The title was won by Real Betis a 2-1 win after extra time in the final against CA Osasuna. Since Betis Sevilla in the season 2004/ 05 parallel secured the participation in the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup was the launch site for CA Osasuna.

First Main Round

The first legs were played the return matches on 9 September 2004 on September 1st.

Second Main Round

The matches were played on 26, 27 and 28 October and on 3 and 4 November 2004.

Third main round

The matches were played on 10 and 11 November 2004.

Second round

The first legs were, the return games be played on 11, 12 and 13 January on the 18th, 19th and 20th January 2005. It was the away goals rule.

Quarterfinals

The first legs were, the return games played on 25, 26 and 27 January the 2nd, 3rd and 16th February 2005. It was the away goals rule.

The first legs were, the return games played on April 20 and 21 on May 11th and 12th 2005. It was the away goals rule.
