1993–94 Copa del Rey

The Copa del Rey 1993/94 was the 90th edition of the Spanish Football Cup Copa del Rey.

The competition started on August 15, 1993 and ended with the final on 20 April 1994 at the Estadio Vicente Calderón ( Madrid). Defender of the cup competition was Real Madrid. The title was won by Real Zaragoza a 5-4 victory on penalties in the final against Celta Vigo. Zaragoza Thus qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1994/95.

First Main Round

The first legs were played the return legs on 18, 22 and 23 August in 1993 at the 15th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st August.

  • Endesa CD As Pontes, UM Escobedo, Cultural Leonesa, FC Palencia, Recreativo Huelva, CA Bembibre, CD Talavera, Club Siero, UE Rubí, CD Roquetas, CD Maspalomas and CD Mensajero received a bye.

Second Main Round

The first legs were played the return legs on 29 and 30 August in 1993 at the 25th, 26th and 27th August.

  • CD Corralejo, CD Izarra, Getafe, Santa Eulalia, CA Tomelloso, CP Cacereño, FC Elche, Gimnástica de Torrelavega and CE Andorra received a bye.

Third main round

The first legs were on the 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, 9th, 16th, 22nd and 29th of September and the return legs on 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22 September and on 20. discharged in October 1993.

  • Albacete Balompié received a bye

Fourth Main Round

The first legs were played the games back on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 13th and November 14th, 1993 on the 10th, 12th, 21st and 27th October.

Fifth Main Round

The first legs were played the return legs on 14, 15, 21 and 22 December in 1993 at the 1st, 2nd and 8th December.

Second round

The first legs were, the return legs held on 4, 5 and 6 January, on 12 and 13 January 1994.

Team # 1 played the first game at home.

Quarterfinals

The first legs were, the return games played on 25 and 26 January on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd February 1994.

Team # 1 played the first game at home.

Semifinal

The first legs were, the return games played on February 16 and 17 on 9 and 10 March 1994.
