2001–02 Copa del Rey
The Copa del Rey 2001/ 02 was the 98th edition of the Spanish Football Cup Copa del Rey.
The competition was launched on 6 September 2001 and ended with the final on 6 March 2002 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu ( Madrid). Defender of the cup competition was Real Zaragoza. The title was won Deportivo La Coruña with a 2-1 victory in the finals against Real Madrid. Since both finalists qualified in the 2001/ 02 season of the UEFA Champions League, the starting place of the seventh- placed teams from the Primera fell for the UEFA Cup in 2002/ 03 to División (Deportivo Alavés ).

The matches were played on 27, 28 and 29 November 2001.
