1997–98 Copa del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1997/98 was the 94th edition of the Spanish Football Cup Copa del Rey.
The competition was launched on 3 September 1997 and ended with the final on 29 April 1998 at the Estadio Mestalla (Valencia). Defender of the cup competition was the FC Barcelona. The title was won again by FC Barcelona 5-4 win on penalties in the final against RCD Mallorca. As the Catalans qualified in the 1997/98 season of the UEFA Champions League, RCD Mallorca participated in the European Cup Winners 1998/99 part.
