Festival Theaterformen

The festival theater forms is an international theater festival in Lower Saxony. It is organized every year in June, alternating in the cities of Hanover (odd years) and Braunschweig (even years), respectively, from the resident state theaters: Lower Saxony State Theatre Hannover and Braunschweig State Theatre.

The festival is funded by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture, of the annually changing host cities of Hannover and Braunschweig, and by the Foundation of Lower Saxony and the Braunschweig Cultural Heritage Foundation.

Was founded the festival in 1990 in Braunschweig. The festival forms of theater shows international theater productions, productions and organizes workshops.
