Finley (Band)

Finley is a four-man Italian rock band. It was founded by four students at the Accademia Della Musica in Milan in 2000. The breakthrough in their home managed the band in 2005 with the debut single Tutto è possibile. 2006 were nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Italian Act Finley.

Career

First musical experiences gathered the four musicians in rock bands. Ka and Dani played in basements of the Milan suburb of Legnano, Stefano and Pedro were members in a grunge band. In 2000, they met at the Accademia Della Musica in Milan and decided to play together.

In the first years after its founding, Finley verdingten with appearances at music competitions, as support of other bands and smaller music festivals. Entitled Make Up Your Own Mind a first receptacle for shooting the four also has its own video was made. However, the record companies initially showed no interest. Only in 2005 the Italian DJ and music producer Claudio Cecchetto saw the video and saw the band immediately under contract. Their single was re-recorded in Italian language and immediately reached the top of the Italian charts. Tutto è possibile was briefly one of the most played video on MTV Italia. On the wave of popularity in February 2006, Finley went on a nationwide tour. In May 2006, finally appeared the band's debut album, which reached the top ten of the Italian album charts. On 3 June 2007, the band performed at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany on.
