Fitz Hall

Fitz Benjamin Hall ( born December 20, 1980 in London) is an English footballer. He is currently at FC Watford under contract.

Club career

Fitz Hall played in his youth, first for West Ham United, had at the age of 15 years, however, with Paul Konchesky, Bobby Zamora and Jlloyd Samuel left the club again. Then he went to the youth department of FC Barnet, but could there not also prevail. His good performance in Chesham have been forwarded from his local coach Bob Dowie Iain Dowie to his brother. This in turn was the then manager of Oldham Athletic and got the defender in April 2002 for £ 30,000 to his club. After a good season, Hall was one of many players who had to leave again because of the massive financial problems the club. He was sold for £ 250,000 to the first division FC Southampton. When the Saints he could never actually prevail, but still completed the first Premier League game of his career. In summer 2004, then brought him his former coach Iain Dowie for £ 1.5 million to Crystal Palace, who had ascended straight into the premier league. After just one season, however, was followed by the direct re- descent. Hall was still a great support for the club and was appointed the following season to the team captain. After some poor performances him the office but was withdrawn in January 2006.

For the 2006/07 season the defender then moved to Erstligaaufsteiger Wigan Athletic, where he but rather sporadically was used in the next two years. In the winter transfer window of the 2007/ 08 Hall went to the Queens Park Rangers, where initially again Iain Dowie was his coach. In January 2010 he was loaned until the end of the season Premier League rivals Newcastle United. At the end of the loan period the defensive player returned to the Queens Park Rangers and was able to celebrate with his team winning the Football League Championship 2010/11 and the associated promotion to the Premier League there. In the first season after the resurgence of the Queens Park Rangers reached the 17th place in the table and escaped with only one point ahead of Bolton Wanderers barely escape relegation. Fitz Hall could not permanently prevail against the competitors Clint Hill, Anton Ferdinand and Nedum Onuoha itself. For the 2012/13 season he therefore moved to the second division Watford FC.
