Flanger (music)
Flanger is a German musical project whose music can be broadly classified as part of electronica. Founding members are the musician Uwe Schmidt ( Atom Heart ) and Bernd Friedmann ( Burnt Friedman ).
History
Friedmann and Smith met in 1996 and decided to start a music project that makes music exclusively with the instruments Fender Rhodes, bass guitar and drums at a festival in Cologne.
The first album templates produced the musicians in 1998 in Schmidt's studio in Santiago de Chile. It appeared in 1999 at the Ninja Tune sublabel Ntone. The two subsequent albums appeared on Ntone and Ninja Tune.
The so far last album the duo spirituals was published in 2005 in Friedreich 's own label Nonplace.
In 2007, the first two albums were again re-released with an additional remix under the name Nuclear Jazz as a bundle.
