Florin Costea

Florin Constantin Costea (born 16 May 1985 in Drăgăşani, Circle Vâlcea ) is a Romanian football player. Since summer 2013 he is at CFR Cluj in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

Costea began his career at Rarora Râmnicu Vâlcea 2003. 2004 he moved to local rivals CSM Râmnicu Vâlcea, before he was hired in 2006 by the Romanian first division club FC Universitatea Craiova. At the end of the 2010/11 season, he was relegated to the Liga II with his club. In August 2011, he finally left Craiova and joined record champions Steaua Bucharest. In January 2013 he moved to league rival CS Turnu Severin. At the end of the 2012/13 season, he was relegated with his new club. He then hired at CFR Cluj.

National

International Costea played six times for Romania. He made his debut in a friendly against Latvia in Urziceni on August 20, 2008, when he came on in the 73rd minute for Mirel Rădoi. The game ended 1-0 for Romania. He had his last mission on 28 March 2009 at the World Cup qualifier against Serbia.

Private

Florin Costea is the older brother of Mihai Costea (* 1988), with whom he has previously played together on all of its stations.
