Floyd Curry

Floyd James Curry ( born August 11, 1925 in Chapleau, Ontario, † September 16, 2006 in Montreal, Quebec ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Curry played throughout his career in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens. His career began in the 1947/48 season and ended in 1958. During this time he won the Stanley Cup four times. His only hat-trick he reached on October 29, 1951, was present as Queen Elizabeth II at the Montreal Forum.

After ending his playing career, he was coach of the Montreal Royals. Subsequently, he worked for over 40 years for the Montreal Canadiens. In 1944 he also won the Memorial Cup with the Oshawa Generals.
