1957–58 NHL season
The NHL season in 1957/58 was the 41st season of the National Hockey League. Six teams each played 70 games. The Stanley Cup won by the Canadiens after a 4-2 victory in the final series against the Boston Bruins. Maurice Richard met the first NHL player to port # 500 As with his gates, No. 100, 200, 325 and 400 was also this time the opponent Chicago. As the first African- American player ran for Boston Willie O'Ree.
