FlyMontserrat
FlyMontserrat ( officially Montserrat Airways Limited ) is a private airline based on the Caribbean island of Montserrat. The home base of FlyMontserrat is the John A. Osborne Airport in the north of the island.
History
Flight operations started on 1 December 2009. FlyMontserrat is led by pilot and director Nigel Harris. This was founder in 1990 of the existing to 1996 Montserrat Airways. He founded his first own airline in 1983. The aircraft maintenance is performed by a certified company in Anguilla. The airline meets all safety standards of the British Civil Aviation Authority.
Destinations
FlyMontserrat offers daily to up to five scheduled flights to Antigua and charter flights within the Caribbean. In addition, rescue flights will be carried out.

Incidents
On October 7, 2012, a BN -2 of the airline crashed immediately after starting from VC Bird International Airport. The machine with the air vehicle registration VP -MON was on the way to the John A. Osborne Airport. Of the four occupants survived the accident only one person. The accident is being investigated by the AAIB.
