Frances Lee McCain

Frances Lee McCain ( born July 28, 1944 in York, Pennsylvania ) is an American actress.

Life

McCain was born in York and grew up in New York, Illinois, Colorado and California. After graduating from college, she studied three years acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Upon her return to the United States, it debuted in Woody Allen's Play It Again, Sam as an actress. In Thaeter in San Francisco, she also worked as a character actor in multiple roles.

Her film and television career began with the drama A Streetcar Named Desire, in which she starred opposite Jon Voight and Faye Dunaway. In 1974 she had along with Ronny Cox her own television series called Apple 's Way, which was produced by CBS. In 1978 she played in Albert Brooks Comedy Real Life, the wife of Charles Grodin's role Warren Yeager. Even in the 80 years she has been active as an actress and to see in many movies. In 1984, she embodied in Gremlins - Little Monsters Lynn Peltzer, the mother of the main character Billy Peltzer. Other films in which she played roles that are Footloose (1984 ), Back to the Future and Stand by Me - The Secret (1986 ). In the 90s, followed by films like Scream - Scream! (1996) and Patch Adams (1998).

In 2000, McCain was awarded in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies master's degrees. Subsequently, it was in San Francisco again active in the theater.
