Francisco Duque

Francisco T. Duque III ( born February 13, 1957 in Manila ) is a Filipino politician.

Biography

After school he studied medicine at the University of Santo Tomas and graduated in 1982 with a Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) from. He later completed a postgraduate study of pathology at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and finished this in 1987 with a Master of Science ( M.Sc. in Pathology ).

After his return to the Philippines in 1988, he was appointed Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pathology of the Lyceum Northwestern University LNU, where he worked as a university teacher until 1995. At the same time he was between 1989 and 1995 Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

In addition, he was from 1989 to 1999 director of the University of Pangasinan as well as between 1990 and 1995 President of the Pangasinan Medical Center Inc. and 1990-1997 President of the College of Emergency Medicine and Care ( Philippine College of Emergency Medicine and Acute Care ) of the prestigious Makati Medical Center.
