Frankie and Johnny (1991 film)

Frankie & Johnny ( Original Title: Frankie and Johnny ) is a romantic comedy film from 1991, directed by Garry Marshall starring Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead roles. The plot is based on the play Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune from 1987 by Terrence McNally, who also wrote the screenplay for the film.

Action

Johnny has just been released from prison and takes place in New York City working as a cook in the restaurant run by Greeks Apollo Cafe. In this the single Frankie works as a waitress. Johnny asks her one day if she wants to go out with him, but Frankie rejects from. Due to bad experiences with previous relationships she prefers to stay alone.
