Fred Savage

Fredrick (Fred) Aaron Savage ( born July 9, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor and director.

Life and career

In 1980 he started with 4 years in the film Dinosaur his acting career. At 9 years old, he played a role in the movie The Boy Who Could Fly by Jay Underwood. Age of 12 he landed the lead role of Kevin Arnold in the series The Wonder Years ( The Wonder Years ). He was nominated in this role in the same year as the youngest performer to date for an Emmy.

After completing his studies at Stanford University, from which he graduated in 1999, he played in 2002 a larger supporting role in the film Austin Powers. Currently he is working behind the scenes and formats of children's programs, among others, as a director ( for example for the comedy series Ned's Declassified School and for the television channels Nickelodeon and Disney). 2006 Savage played the lead role in the American sitcom Crumbs, were produced by only 13 episodes and the series was canceled due to poor ratings after only five sequels.

Since 7 August 2004, he is married to his high school sweetheart Jennifer Stone. With it, he has a son (* 2006) and a daughter (* 2008). His four years younger brother Ben Savage is also an actor.
