Free is the fourth studio album by the Belgian singer Kate Ryan. It was released on 26 May 2008. It is the first album from Ryan that contains only songs in the style of dance music.

Title list

The album is a duet with Spanish singer Soraya Arnelas ( Tonight We Ride / No Digas Que No ) and a ballad, namely Free, the title song. In some countries, a different edition of the album was released, at which some English versions of French-language songs are included.

Singles

On 6 July 2007 came to Ryan's label change from EMI to ARS in Belgium Voyage, voyage a cover version of 80's hits of the French singer Desireless on the market. After a few weeks the CD was number two of the Flemish singles chart and received the gold record for selling 10,000 units belgienweit. Internationally, the single was successful; in Germany for the first time even the first time rose in three years a CD release by Kate Ryan in the top 20 of the singles chart, in the Netherlands for five years. In Sweden, the single from September 2007 to May 2008 was almost continuously in the chart rankings. On February 1, was released in 2008 in Belgium and some other countries the single release LILY.

The next release was called Ella, elle l' a, a cover version of 80's hits of the French singer France Gall, and was published on April 25 in Sweden, where it reached number two. On May 9, the single was released in Belgium and on May 16 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In Germany Ella Elle l'a could get on the first week at number ten in Austria at number 31 In Slovenia, the piece was number five, and in Spain the single rose within eight weeks at number one on the singles charts and was fivefold platinum Award. In August, Ryan put in a song festival in the western end of the single from the album I Surrender ( a cover of the same song by the British band Clea ) ago.
