Gabriel Boștină

Gabriel Boştină ( May 22nd, 1977 in Gura Văii circle Mehedinţi ) is a former Romanian football player. The midfielder played 324 games in the League 1 In 2005 and 2006 he won the Romanian championship.

Playing career

First Cup experience gained Gabriel Boştină in the 1997/98 season, when he ran aground on Severnav Turnu Severin in Divizia C. He then moved into the Divizia B CIMENTUL Fieni, where he helped with his services that the club took a good third place. Thus, the leaders of Oţelul Galaţi were aware of him, who committed him in 1999. His debut in Divizia A he gave on July 24, 1999, beating Gloria Bistrita. He joined in 2002 by Oţelul to Steaua Bucharest, where he was twice Romanian champions. After he had accrued on the opening day of the 2007/08 season yet for Steaua, he moved to Dinamo Bucharest. There he became a regular player. In summer 2010, he left the club and joined the newly promoted Universitatea Cluj. Two years later, he finished his career there first, before he hired in April 2013 at CS Turnu Severin. With his new club, however, he did not play and said goodbye after the season from competitive sports.

National

Boştină graduated four caps for the Romanian national football team, the first of which on November 12, 2005 against the Ivory Coast. Four days later, he stood against Nigeria for the first time in the starting lineup. During a trip to the U.S. he came on 25 May 2006 against Northern Ireland on his last mission.
