Gabriel & Dresden

Gabriel & Dresden is the project name of the DJs and producers Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden from San Francisco, the best known in the U.S. and are active.

They joined together in 2001 and have since made a name for itself by numerous remixes. Apart from dance titles such as Tiësto In My Memory or Above & Beyonds No One On Earth they also remixed many pop tracks, including Dido ( Do not Leave Home), Jewel ( intuition, Serve The Ego ), Dave Gahan (I Need You ), Sarah McLachlan ( traps), New Order ( Someone Like You) and Britney Spears / Madonna (Me Against The Music). In their DJ sets Gabriel & Dresden play a mix of progressive trance and house music. In 2005 the two founded the label organzied Nature on which they publish their own music mainly.

2002 saw Gabriel & Dresden's first single, Lament for Saw Recordings in the USA. In 2004, they released their first mix CD Bloom. In early 2005, the single was released Arcadia. At the end of that year, produced together with Markus Schulz and Departure Track Without Your Near arrived at Coldharbour Recordings on the market. Also in 2005, Gabriel & Dresden produced together with Armin van Buuren the track Zocalo, which is released on Armin van Buuren album Shivers. In the summer of 2006, the duo released their first studio album titled Gabriel & Dresden. In the same year, Tracking Treasure Down and Dangerous Power appeared. On 26 October 2007, the compilation Toolroom Knights Vol 2 was released which was mixed by Gabriel & Dresden.

On April 5, 2008 Dave Dresden officially announced the separation of the trance project known. This was because the duo wanted to evolve in different directions. At a festival in Hollywood on 1 January 2011 Dave Dresden and Josh Gabriel reappeared together.

On 20 February 2012, the track No Reservations appeared on the label Organized Nature. This track Gabriel & Dresden produced together with the dubstep duo Secret Panda Society. This was followed by the tracks Arcadia ( 2012), Play It Back (2012 ) and Shatter ( 2013).

Motorcycle

Motorcycle is a project of Gabriel & Dresden with vocalist Jes Brieden. Under this name they released in mid-2003, the single As The Rush Comes on Positiva. The single was commercially successful in several countries; in the British charts, it reached number 11 She was also in the 2004 Best International Dance Music Awards at the Winter Music Conference in category Progressive / Trance Track Award In. In the same year, they released two more singles with the name Deep, Breath, Love and imagination. However, this could not build on the success of As the rush comes.
