Gabriele de' Gabrielli

Gabriele de ' Gabrielli (* 1445 in Fano, Italy, † November 5, 1511 in Rome ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Life

Already under Pope Alexander VI. served as Apostolic prothonotary, he worked as an agent of Cardinal Della Rovere, when he was in exile in France and had fallen out with the Pope. Appointed on March 27, 1504 Bishop of Urbino, and there also enthroned in 1505, he remained as Papal secretary in Rome.

Also benefice of S. Salvatore in Perugia and S. Leonardo in Fermo, Pope Julius II created him on December 1, 1505 Cardinal Deacon, which he published on 12 December 1505 and dismissed him on 17 December 1505 Title Diakonia of Sant'Agata in Subura to. Appointed on December 11, 1507, Cardinal Priest of Santa Prassede, he kept at the same time held the title Diakonia of Sant'Agata. For legate of Perugia appointed, he resigned a short time later due to his poor health in this position and returned to Rome.

Gabriele de ' Gabrielli died on November 5, 1511 in the Apostolic Palace.
