Game Park
Game Park was founded in South Korea in 1996 is the company that specializes in the manufacture of portable video game systems. The only product is the GP32, a handheld with an open development environment. In 2005, a large number of employees broke away and founded the company Game Park Holdings. Reason for the spin-off were inconsistencies in the development of the GP32 's successor. The company saw itself as a pioneer in the multimedia sector and relies on the open source philosophy. In 2007 the company went into bankruptcy.
Organization
Game Park has split some time ago in Game Park and Game Park Holdings. Game Park Holdings consists of a large part of the original team and brought in November 2005 as a successor to the GP32 GP2X on the market.
Game Park worked up to the insolvency of a GP32 - successor called XGP.
