Gediminas Paulauskas

Gediminas Paulauskas ( born October 27, 1982 in Kupiškis ) is a Lithuanian footballer. Since the summer of 2011, he plays for Piast Gliwice in the Polish second division.

Career

Association

Paulauskas began his professional career in 1999 at Ekranas Panevezys. In 2005 he won the Lithuanian Championship with Ekranas Panevezys. He remained until the end of 2007 in the club and then moved to Turkey to MKE Ankaragucu. After just one league game took place after a month of change in Switzerland, for AC Bellinzona. After six league games, he returned in the summer of 2008, back in his homeland and signed for Vėtra Vilnius, where he played until the end of 2009. He then tried his luck abroad again. Paulauskas joined Illitschiwez Mariupol in the Ukraine, where he only seven games for the first team played before he was transferred to the second team. Therefore, he moved to the summer break and the Polish second division Piast Gliwice.

National

Gediminas Paulauskas was in 2005, his debut for the Lithuanian national football team. He graduated from the end of 2010 a total of 27 caps for Lithuania.
