Geoffrey Muller

Life and career

Geoffrey Muller earned his spurs as an assistant editor on such productions as Mr. Emmanuel (1944 ) directed by Harold French or Outcast (1947 ) by Sir Carol Reed.

From 1951, he came for the British cinema in numerous productions as a cutter for use, often for drama, action, crime or horror movies. Among others, he worked for directors such as Jeffrey Dell, Michael McCarthy, Vernon Sewell, Charles Crichton, Richard Vernon, Wolf Rilla, Alec C. Snowden, Peter Maxwell or Arthur Crabtree, but most often for the two directors Ken Hughes and Montgomery Tully. Since 1963, the two episodes for The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre series, he also worked for television.

In 1959, he staged with The Witness his first feature film. In the same year, and in 1960 was followed by a short film ever.
