George Lepping

Sir George Lepping Gerea Dennis GCMG ( born November 22, 1947 the Shortland Islands, Western Province, Solomon Islands) is a politician of the Solomon Islands, which was between 1988 and 1994 second Governor General of the Solomon Islands.

Life

Lepping was born on 7 July 1988 as a successor to Sir Baddeley Devesi second Governor General of the Solomon Islands and has held this position for six years until his replacement by Moses Pitakaka on July 7, 1994. On August 17, 1988, it was him the Grand Cross of the Order of St awarded. Michael and St George, so that henceforth he the additional name "Sir" led.

Sir George Lepping, organized by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community Festival of Pacific Arts In March 2010, the Chairman of the Committee for the organization appointed to be held in July 2012 in the Solomon Islands.
