George Njaralakatt

George Njaralakatt ( born June 23, 1946 in Kalayanthany, India) is Bishop of Mandya.

Life

George Njaralakatt received on 20 December 1971, the sacrament of Holy Orders and was incardinated in the clergy of the Eparchy of Tellicherry. On 1 March 1973 he was incardinated into the Eparchy of Mananthavady and the clergy on 27 August 2007 in the clergy of the Eparchy of Bhadravathi.

On 18 January 2010 he was named Pope Benedict XVI. Bishop of Mandya. The Archbishop of Tellicherry, George Valiamattam, donated to him on April 7 of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Archbishop Emeritus of Trichur, Jacob Thoomkuzhy, and the Bishop of Mananthavady, José Porunnedom.
