George Wendt

George Wendt ( born October 17, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actor.

Career

The best known role of George Wendt is likely to be the seated at the bar and drinking beer permanent guest standard in the television series Cheers. He is next to Ted Danson and Rhea Perlman is the only actor who appeared in every episode of Cheers. Wendt is also the only actor of the same character - Norm Peterson - played in seven different television series: Cheers except he played this character in guest appearances

For his role in Cheers Wendt was nominated six times for an Emmy.
