History
Downfall
On 8 May 1945 at 4:45 clock discovered a British flying boat of type Catalina "X" ( Flt Lt KM Murray ) of 210 Squadron RAF, the submerged submarine. The snorkel and periscope had betrayed it. Four depth charges were dropped, after which oil floated. The remote sonar buoys transmitted noise of hammers, as if the crew tried to repair the boat.
