Gianluca Nijholt

Gianluca Nijholt (born 14 February 1990 in Utrecht) is a Dutch football player. Since the summer of 2007, the offensive player is the pro squad of the Dutch first division club FC Utrecht, but in the second half of the 2011/12 season on loan at second division club Almere City FC.

Career

In the 2007 /08 season Nijholt was first appointed to the senior squad of FC Utrecht. To his debut on 16 December 2007, the young players came by chance. In the 3-1 win over Heracles Almelo his teammate Giuseppe Rossini should be brought on in the 87th minute. Since this had forgotten his jersey in the cabin, Nijholt was a substitute against the Belgians Tom Caluwé. In his debut game in the Eredivisie, the attacker wore the shirt number 27
