Gideon 's Daughter is a British film drama from the year 2005. Directed by Stephen Poliakoff, who also wrote the screenplay.

Action

The action takes place in 1997; as taking place in the background events are shown the death of Princess Diana and the construction of The O ₂ Millennium Dome. The widower Gideon Warner is a public- relations consultant. He has a bad relationship with his daughter Natasha, who wants to study in Edinburgh to live far away from her father.

Warner learns Stella know who has recently lost her son. Stella's ex-husband accused a customer of Warner, a politician, this is the death of the son's guilty. Gideon and Stella get closer and become a couple.

The editors of All Media Guide wrote that the film should complement the film drama Friends & Crocodiles same director from 2005. He was " sensitive " and " poignant ".
