Gilbert Blaize Rego

Gilbert Blaize Rego ( born September 3, 1921 in Bombay, † June 21, 2012 in Bandra, Mumbai ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Simla and Chandigarh.

Life

Gilbert Blaize Rego received on 5 December 1953, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 11 March 1971 for the Bishop of Simla and Chandigarh. The Archbishop of Delhi Angelo Fernandes Innocent consecrated him on 11 September of the same year to the bishop; Were co-consecrators Ignatius P.
