Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Delhi

The Archdiocese of Delhi (Latin: Archidioecesis Delhiensis ) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Delhi in India.

History

The Archdiocese was on 13 September 1910 under the name Simla Archdiocese ( until 1937, later archdiocese Delhi and Simla to 1959 ), built from parts of the Archdiocese of Agra and of the Diocese of Lahore.

Territory

The Archdiocese of Delhi comprises the districts of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Rohtak, Rewari, Mahindergarh, Jhajjar and Sonepat in Haryana and the entire union territory of Delhi.
