Giuseppe Sculli

Giuseppe Sculli ( born March 23, 1981 in Locri ( RC), Italy) is an Italian football player.

He is a striker and is at Lazio since 2010 under contract. Sculli is a grandson of Giuseppe Morabito, a super boss of the Calabrian mafia organization 'Ndrangheta.

Career

In the club

Giuseppe Sculli began his career in the youth section of Juventus. In 2000, he joined the first team and has since been loaned out to various clubs in order to gain experience.

First, he played for FC Crotone where he regularly came into use and is recommended after two seasons for the Serie A. The 2001/02 season he played at FC Modena and was once again a regular player.

For the 2003/ 04 season he was sent by Juve to AC Chievo Verona, but where he could not sustainably prevail. The following season spent Sculli at Brescia Calcio, where he was indeed stem strength, but could not prevent relegation.

The season 2005/ 06 he played against newly promoted FC Messina, where he regularly came into use and with the team relegated from Serie A could just barely avoided. In the summer of 2006 it looked like this when he would deny in the upcoming season, his first season in the first team of Juventus, who had to stay in Serie B 2005/ 06 due to the manipulation scandal and thus lost many stars. However, the club decided before the start of the season, borrow Sculli to the league rivals Genoa. After Giuseppe Sculli had spent the 2006/07 season at Genoa, the club made ​​on 20 June 2007 of its pre-emptive right use and signed him permanently.

During the winter break of 2010/11 he spent 3.5 million euros to SS Lazio.

In the National Team

Giuseppe Sculli went through so far since the U-15 youth teams and all played more than 50 junior internationals. His biggest success in that time, he was able to celebrate at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, when he won the bronze medal under coach Claudio Gentile.

However, for the senior team, he was not yet used.
