Gladigau is a district of the town Osterburg ( Altmark) in the district of Stendal, in Saxony- Anhalt, Germany.

Geography

Gladigau is located on the piping, west of the main town Osterburg ( Altmark) and north-west of Stendal. The mostly flat area is dominated stand alone Gladigauer Muhlenberg (51 m above sea level. NN ) to about 25 m. The Augraben forms the western boundary of the district Gladigau and also the border of the Altmark Salzwedel.

History
