Comments

Classic scenes are:

  • Quale is carved by Joseph and Rusty the ticket sales over the ear, as they always give him a provided with a thread 10 dollar bill, he has to change.
  • The dismantling of the train on the way to New York: The Marx Brothers have previously lost all the wood from the tender and must now take apart the train to get fuel.

Although Buster Keaton does not appear in the opening or closing credits of the film, Irving Brecher, however, has always referred to him as a co- writer of the film, since he worked at that time with him and got tips for the movie by him.

The movie has long stretches a strong resemblance to the three years earlier resulting movie " Two rode to Texas " with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy ( Laurel and Hardy ).

Criticism

Lexicon of international film: anarchic slapstick comedy of the Marx Brothers, which is applied through a variety of gags as high-spirited Western - parody; a fun game with genre quotes, cryptic wordplay and absurd comedy.
