Gomelange
Gomelange is a commune with 547 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the Gomelange Nied, about eight kilometers southwest of Bouzonville, near the border with the Saarland. To Gomelange include the districts Guirlange and Colming.
History
The place was first mentioned in 1184 as Gelmelingen, then Gaimelanges ( 1276), and Gomelingen (16th cent.).
