Bionville-sur-Nied
Bionville -sur -Nied ( German: Bingen ) is a commune of 380 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the canton of Boulay- Moselle, in the same district and is a member of the Association of Municipalities Pays boulageois.
Geography
The community Bionville -sur -Nied is at an altitude of about 215 m above the sea, 23 kilometers east of Metz. The municipal area extends from the valley of the German Nied ( Nied Allemande ) up to up to 100 meters higher -lying hills east and west of the valley.
The 8.5 km ² area of the municipality Bionville -sur -Nied is dominated by arable land, interspersed with meadows on the Nied and small forests, which account for a share of about 15 % of the municipal territory.

Neighboring communities of Bionville -sur- Nied Bannay in the north, Brouck in the northeast, Marange Zondrange and Fouligny in the east, the south and Raville varix in the West.

In the years 1962-1990 the population rose by one-third, since it stagnates.

The National Road 3 (Paris- Metz- Saarbrücken) clips the community Bionville -sur -Nied. Is crossed, the N 3 of the Department of Boulay -Moselle Road 19 on Bionville -sur -Nied after Faulquemont. The Boulay port on the Paris -Strasbourg motorway is only five kilometers from Bionville.
