Goon Moon

Goon Moon is the name of the American alternative rock band from Jeordie White and Chris Goss, which was founded in 2002. It serves as a side project, so as a secondary band, since the two founding members beside Goon Moon have any other projects.

General

The band was formed in 2002 after Jeordie White left the band Marilyn Manson, in which he played from 1994 to 2002 bass. Together with Chris Goss they formed the band to enter new territories and to prescribe to no fixed style of music. Goss had made ​​a name in the music scene both as a singer of the band Masters of Reality as well as producer of Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age before the foundation.

In 2005 they released their debut album I Got a Brand New Egg Layin ' Machine under the record label, Suicide Squeeze Records, where Zach Hill helped as a drummer.

March 8th 2007, her second album was released under the name Licker 's Last Leg. It was taken from the record label Ipecac Recordings and shows several guest musicians, including drummer Josh Freese of who has played, among others, already at A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails drums.

The band's sound leans heavily on the 60s on the way to the beginning of the 21st century. Audible effects of the hippie and gothic rock vary from title to title. Currently set Goon Moon current songs and videos from the new album on the YouTube broadcast page for free viewing and Play available.

Currently, Goon Moon occur in various small clubs in San Francisco and other American states. Performances in Europe or other countries are not yet planned.
