Góry, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Gory ( German mountains ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Białogard ( Belgard ) in the powiat Białogardzki.

Geographical location

Gory is the southernmost village of Gmina Białogard. It is about the province road No. 163 Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg ) Wałcz ( German crown) in the branch at Tychówko ( Woldisch Tychow ) by Rabino ( United Rambin ) to reach. The distance to the district town is 27 kilometers. The nearest railway station is on the railway line Rabino Stargard - Gdańsk.

History

In 1910, the Bergen Gutsbezirk recorded 182 inhabitants. He belonged until 1945 to the district Belgard ( Persante ). Today belongs to the Gory Gmina Białogard in powiat Białogardzki.

Ecclesiastical mountains was until 1945 the parish in the parish Woldisch Tychow and belonged to the Church Belgard county in Pomerania church of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. Today Gory is part of the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
