Gösgen District

The District Gösgen is the easternmost district in the canton of Solothurn ( Switzerland ) on the border with the Canton of Aargau. It belongs to Amtei Olten- Gösgen. Capital is Niedergösgen. The District Gösgen, located at the foot of the Jura between Olten and Aarau, developed in recent decades to a beautiful residential area. Industry plays a smaller role here than, say, in Gaeu or in the district of Olten, with the exception of Trimbach where industry still plays a big role.
