The Gossler Island ( also Gosslerinsel ) is an island in the southwest of the Palmer Archipelago west of Anvers Island. With some immediately adjacent islands, it forms the small group of Gossler Islands (English Gossler Islands ). The islands are mostly covered with ice and snow.

Gossler the island was discovered by Eduard Dallmann, on behalf of the German polar Navigation Company explored 1873/74 the waters off the Antarctic Peninsula. His shipping company named the island in the aftermath of the expedition to Ernst Gossler (1838-1893) and his family, who have been involved together with some other Hamburg merchants and shipowners at the German polar Navigation Company.
