Gösta Löfgren

Karl Gösta Herbert " LÖVET " Löfgren ( born August 29, 1923 in Motala, † September 5, 2006 ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Löfgrens biography is one of the most interesting in Swedish football. While the players of Motala AIF debuted in 1951 in the Swedish national team, but could be Erstligadebüt only celebrate 1957. Nevertheless, he was at the 1952 Olympics in the squad who won the bronze medal with a victory over Germany. 1955, the second division player was even awarded the Guldbollen as Sweden's Footballer of the Year.
