Gouda–Den Haag railway

The railway Gouda - The Hague is a railway line between Gouda and The Hague. The railway is an important railway line in the west of the Netherlands. The distance is about 25 kilometers.

History

The line was built by the Nederlandsche Rhijnspoorweg - Maatschappij and opened on 1 May 1870. The maximum permitted speed is usually 130 km / h The line was electrified in 1938. On the line has six stations; another station is in planning.
