GQ - Gentlemen's Quarterly is appearing in the Condé Nast publishing house lifestyle magazine for men.

History

The magazine exists in the United States since 1957. In October 1997, the first German edition, which emerged from the first time published in 1984 Men's Vogue appeared. In 2002, the family of brands of the magazine to the fashion special issue GQ Style has been expanded, which appears twice a year. With GQ Cars in April 2004, also appeared a second branch, which is now no longer an independent magazine more, but a supplement to the regular GQ. Men of the Year

The GQ honors annually at an evening gala the GQ Men of the Year. Be nominated outstanding personalities from the international and German show and the music business as well as society, sports, culture and fashion.

Since 2010, the gala evening held in Berlin, in the premises of the Komische Oper Berlin, instead. In previous years, was traditionally the Munich venue.
