Graham Bell (singer)

Graham Thomas Bell ( * April 17, 1948 in Blyth ( Northumberland ), England; † May 2, 2008 in London ) was an English pop and rock singer.

Biography

The son of North English musician, published at the age of 18 years, his first single ( How Do You Say) I Do not Love You Anymore ( 1966). In the same year he became a singer in the band Skip Bifferty, which broke up in 1969, after they had taken as a Heavy Jelly last single. In the meantime, Bell sang in a group called The Gift; Although they made some recordings, this remained unpublished.

After a brief stint with the group Griffin, who brought out two singles, Bell sang in 1970 in Every Which Way, who split after one album in 1971. Subsequently, Bell did get back together with John Turnbull and Mickey Gallagher, his old colleagues of Skip Bifferty, which now had their own band called Arc. Together they formed Bell Arc, who in 1972 broke up after one album.

1972 Graham Bell sang the role of the lover in the orchestral version of the rock opera Tommy. In the same year his first solo album Graham Bell came out.

In the following years Graham Bell tried in various formations to continue his career, at times in America. In the late 1980s he sang in Snowy White 's Blues Agency. In 2008, he died of cancer.
