Granozzo con Monticello

Granozzo con Monticello is a municipality with 1450 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Novara (NO ), Region Piedmont. The neighboring municipalities are Casalino, Confienza (PV ), Nibbiola, Novara and Vespolate.

EU project

Granozzo con Monticello participates in the Small Towns for Sustainable Growth EU project in 2012. As part of the program, the municipality has set the following objectives for 2020:

  • Creation and establishment of a Tourist Offices
  • Expansion of the offers of the Outdoor Sports and Fitness
  • Relevant to education workshops for schools and families
  • Artful recycling of waste
  • Work-up of traditional culture
  • Development of its own typical of the commune product
  • Artistic design of the landscape
  • Boosting the economy mainly through tourism
  • Increase rate of the economy by selling regional products
