The Green Bay (English for " Green Bay " ) is a bay in Lake Michigan.

It is located along the southern coast of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the eastern coast of Wisconsin. The bay is the main lake of Lake Michigan through the Door Peninsula in Wisconsin, the Garden Peninsula in Michigan, and a chain of islands between the two peninsulas - separately - all part of the Niagara Escarpment. The Green Bay has a length of 193 km and a width between 16 and 32 km. The water area covers 4210 km ².

At the south end of the bay, the city of Green Bay is located. There the Fox River empties into Lake Michigan. Other tributaries of the Green Bay, Menominee River, Peshtigo River, Escanaba River, Ford River, Whitefish River and Sturgeon River. The bay is also called " Bay of Green Bay ," to distinguish it from the city name. The bay is navigable for large ships.
