Coat of arms

The municipal coat of arms is divided into thirds. The nichtheraldisch left lower third shows a golden acorn on red ground. In the upper third, a gold cross with a widened foot takes on a red background and in the lower right third nichtheraldisch is a golden goat head with two coiled horns.

Economy and infrastructure

Thanks to its convenient location right off the highway, the last few years a large industrial area. Here are primarily a dealer and trucking companies resident. The jobs thus created then attended for a development area with many young families.

Traffic

Great Ippener located directly on the A1 between Bremen and Osnabrück. The municipality has a rail connection to the trains running between Delmenhorst and Harpstedt museum railway " January Harpstedt ".
