The Big Wild, in the upper reaches Narrow Lude, is one of the headwaters of Thyra. The voice stream is a tributary of the upper reaches.

In the old town of Stolberg arises from the confluence with the two mountain streams Lude and Small Wild the Thyra.

The Riesch ditch led from 1745 to 1910 water from the Schmale Lude in the Lower Harz Pond and grave system, where it was dammed with the Ludewasser Möller pond and the water could be directed in the following shingle Brücher Art ditch.
